How it works (it’s simpler than you think)

1. Install and open the app.
   On first launch, you’ll be asked to set your master password. This protects your vault, so choose something memorable and strong.

2. Unlock your vault.
   Next time you open the app, just enter your master password to decrypt your data.

3. Add your accounts.
   For each service, save:

   • Service name (e.g. “Gmail”)

   • Username / email

   • Password

   • Notes (security questions, backup codes, etc.)

4. Find what you need, when you need it.
   Use the built-in search bar to instantly jump to any entry. Click to copy username or password, then paste into your login form.

5. Back up regularly.
   Every so often, copy your encrypted vault.dat to a USB drive or other safe place. If your PC ever fails, you can restore your vault and carry on.
